    Description

    Victorian Cut Steel Shoe Buckles.
    2 1/4" x 13/4 "
    Clasps on back function and slide smoothly although a little stiff from age. Maker's name "Holfast" on both clasps.
    Appears to be genuine leather backing between clasp and buckle.
    Purchased at an estate sale and sold as "antique" and "authentic" by the auctioneer. Now you know everything I know about them.
